This was an assignment given to me by my Composition and Literature A.P. teacher. We were to write a parody based on Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal." I got the idea for this from arrmaitee's Top Ten List and thought it would be fun to post in the LJ Community. Please keep in mind that this essay is completely satirical and not meant to put down fan fiction authors or anyone involved in writing fan fiction. So don't leave me comments like: "That's stupid. It would never work." Duh! I know that. Anyway . . . on to the essay!
